Order Returns
All returns are subject to approval by Dakota Plumbing Products.
If a product delivery is refused for any reason other than verified shipping damage, the order will be treated as a return and will be subject to applicable return shipping and restocking fees.
All returns require a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number issued by Dakota. RGAs must be requested within 30 days of product delivery. Returns sent without an approved RGA may be refused.
Return Eligibility Requirements
All returned merchandise must meet all of the following conditions:

Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in new, resalable condition

Items must be returned in original, undamaged packaging

Products may not have been used as display items

There must be no writing or markings on packaging, unless explicitly authorized by a Dakota representative

The customer is responsible for all return freight costs and must fully insure the return shipment
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

Installed or previously used products
-
Custom, special-order, or made-to-order items
-
Clearance or final sale items
-
Orders requiring freight quotes, once confirmed and shipped
Shipping & Freight Costs

Original shipping and freight charges are non-refundable

Customers are responsible for both original and return shipping costs

Return shipping costs will only be covered by Dakota if the return is due to:

A confirmed shipping error by Dakota, or
-
A verified manufacturing defect

Damaged or Defective Items
All shipments must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery

Claims for concealed damage or defects must be reported to Dakota within 48 hours of receipt

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may void eligibility for replacement or refund
Dakota will evaluate all damage or defect claims and, at its discretion, may repair, replace, or issue a refund.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, based on product condition, packaging, and handling requirements.
Responsibility for Returned Items
Dakota Plumbing Products is not responsible for lost, misdirected, improperly packaged, or damaged return shipments.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all returned items are securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. Dakota will cooperate with carrier claim processes but is not responsible for filing or managing claims on the customer’s behalf.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued after returned items are received and inspected.
